Customers like Melissa A describe it as “one of the best burgers” they’ve ever had, crediting the freshness of the toppings and the perfectly soft, slightly toasted bun that holds everything together, ensuring every bite is a delightful experience.

I recently tried this burger and it was hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had. The patty was char-grilled to perfection, with a nice crust on the outside and juicy on the inside. The toppings were fresh and high quality, adding layers of flavor and texture to each bite. The bun was soft and slightly toasted, holding everything together without getting soggy. The portion size was just right, not too big or too small. Overall, this burger was a true masterpiece and I can't wait to go back for another one. If you're in the mood for a delicious, satisfying burger, I highly recommend giving this place a try. You won't be disappointed!

Tasty spot, randomly found on google while traveling! Got the chopped cheese, the wagyu smashburger, & the fries. Chopped cheese & smashburger were both excellent. Would get again. Fries were fine. I don’t regret them but I might pass on the calories & just go for another burger next time. It was an expensive burger, for the size... but the flavor was great. If I’m passing through again, I’ll definitely be stopping by again.

I recently tried Double Up Burger, and it was amazing! The Wagyu Burger was juicy and flavorful, with a perfect soft bun. The Chopped Cheese was tender, cheesy, and satisfying. The Brisket Fries were loaded with smoky brisket and melted cheese, making them a hearty treat. The Popcorn Chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with a great dipping sauce. Overall, the food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect for a casual, satisfying meal. Highly recommend!

Really goood Burgers! if you haven’t tried it...make your way over to Gigi’s kitchen Thursday-Sunday for some Double up Burgers! every week! You won’t be disappointed!

I'm a huge fan of gourmet burgers and prefer Bison meat. However, as a Fort Washington native, I was excited to learn about this spot serving up Wagyu burgers. For those complaining about prices - Wagyu beef is not cheap! Also, my burger was 18, which is right on par with other burgers I get. So the pricing isn't bad. As for what I thought, the burger was fantastic! I asked for no cheese and still received cheese. However, the burger was packed with lots of flavor and seasoned just right. I'm not usually a big fan of smash burgers because they can be a bit dry (to me). However, this is among the best smash burgers I've ever had. My only knock - the fries were average. My preference are handcut fries. There was nothing special about these fries, but the star of the show is the burger. That's why people should come here. There's so much potential in Fort Washington, but the food scene has been greatly disappointing. I will definitely be supporting Double Up Burger!

I wish I had taken photos, but honestly they wouldn’t do the food justice. I hadn’t had a burger in some time and this was just what I needed and more. My buddy and I each got the Double Smash Burger w/everything(paid extra for the wagyu beef, totally worth it), the loaded chop cheese fries, and split a chopped cheese as well. We literally ate the whole food menu LOL and I couldn’t be happier. This has to be one of my new “mom and pop” shops in the DMV, to not go there again would be unimaginable. All of flavors compliment one another and once you take that first bite, you won’t be able to stop. They have a very nice selection of boba tea as well, I decided on the Thai Iced Tea and my friend ordered the Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Staff very very friendly and the restaurant was very well kept and clean. Highly recommend you try this place, I will be back for sure.

If you’re a burger lover and haven't yet made your way to Double Up Burger, drop what you're doing and go now. I had one of the best burger experiences I’ve had in a long time, and I can’t stop thinking about it! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was warm and welcoming. The owners were there and took the time to greet guests and chat with me. They were so personable, you could tell they genuinely care about their craft and the people they serve. Let’s talk food. First, the Waygu smash burgers are nothing short of perfection. The patty was crispy on the edges, juicy on the inside, and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a savory symphony. The chopped cheese was a game-changer—so good that it transported me straight back to my hometown of NYC. You know what I mean if you’ve had an authentic chopped cheese. It wasn’t just a nostalgic bite; it was done right. It’s clear this place is a labor of love for the owners, and it shows in every bite. Double Up Burger delivers whether you're a burger aficionado or just someone who wants a good meal. I’ll definitely be back—and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

They never disappoint, the smash burger is one of the best in the whole DMV. And the smoothies are Soo good, they have so many flavors to choose from, but my favorite is the mango marble
